Significant changes have been made in word order, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling. The removal of the second person pronouns ”thou”, ”thee”, ”ye,” ”thy,” and ”thine.” Verb forms were also modernized in the NKJV (for example, ”speaks” rather than ”speaketh”).
